At Back in Balance we believe in teaching a style of self defence to suit the individual, not in trying to mould the individual to suit a specific style.

Our training methods are a mixture of Kung-fu, Hapkido, karate and traditional kick boxing, giving the student the tools to develop into a good all round practitioner.

You don’t need to be fit to start training, as you develop your own style your fitness will automatically improve with it.

We will find what works best for you, and help nourish and develop you through our training, giving you a great feeling of self confidence and inner calm.

You will learn how to box, kick fast with power, develop escape techniques, deliver throws and disarm weapons, whilst in a safe, warm, and friendly environment. And it’s great fun.

We believe in keeping it simple, and therefore easier to remember and perform, the last step of the art is simplicity.
